Welcome to the Obvious Office
Are you trying to improve the performance of your office?
Are you missing deadlines - do you keep delivering late
?
Are you struggling with mistakes and complaints?
Are you under pressure to do more with less – to reduce costs?
The Obvious Office exists to help you resolve these problems without spending vast sums of money on technology but rather by releasing the potential within all your staff to do a significantly better job.
Hi, my name is Andy Hobson and I have worked on performance improvement for the past 30 years and in that time I have tried virtually every management fad you can think of. It was only when I started to use the techniques that made Japanese industry so very special that I finally started to deliver real, sustainable and repeatable results.
For the last 5 years I have applied these Japanese manufacturing techniques, nowadays known as Lean, in non- manufacturing environments and the results are simply astounding.
There is now an increasing belief in many sectors such as financial services, local and central government, retail, government agencies, law, and health that the application of lean techniques really does deliver step changes in overall performance.
The Obvious Office web site sets out everything you need to know to get lean started in your organisation and build solid foundations for continuing improvement.
