Lean Practitioners
Are you intimately involved in making lean work in a non-manufacturing environment?
Or are you a consultant advising organisations on the best way to use lean in an office?
Then read on to find out how you can help create a rich source of resources that will help us all to a better job of making lean work in non-manufacturing environments.
The Obvious Office website is designed to grow by building up a repository of intellectual knowledge and practical know-how about applying lean in non-manufacturing environments.
To achieve this we want you to share with the rest of the Obvious Office community your successes and your learning points. By doing so we will be able to provide information and assistance that will drive the increase in lean application into more organisations and more sectors.
How does this work?
You send us your case study, article, success story, learning point, link to resources or other useful material. We will check it to make sure it is relevant to the use of lean in non-manufacturing environments. Send your material to studies@obviousoffice.com
Please remember that these documents are published on the web, not in a printed magazine and the content needs to be crisp and relevant. If your document is long, consider breaking it down into smaller chunks that stand alone as examples, maybe including a summary as a separate document describing the overall benefits. Use the examples on this site as a template.
What is in it for me?
The most important benefit is that you will help to create a rich source of lean experience on the web that others who are trying to make a go of using lean can rely upon for practical help.
If you want, you will be credited for the material and we will publish a link to your web-site or email address so that visitors to the Obvious Office website can get in touch with you.
If you are from an organisation that sells lean services, we will ask you to provide a reciprocal link to the Obvious Office website
If you have material that you want posted on this website, please send it to us at studies@obviousoffice.com.
Or you can contact me at andy@obviousoffice.com to discuss how you can contribute.
